Indiana Fever Announce New Ownership Group

Fever to be led by local ownership group; plans to revitalize franchise

New owners committed to building a winning team and engaging the community

The Indiana Fever have announced a new ownership group, led by local businesswoman Allison Melloh. The group, which also includes former Fever player Stephanie White and local attorney David Kahn, is committed to building a winning team and engaging the community.

Melloh, a lifelong Fever fan, said she is excited about the opportunity to lead the franchise into a new era. "I believe in the Fever and I believe in this city," Melloh said. "We're going to build a team that our fans can be proud of and that will represent the spirit of Indiana."

White, who played for the Fever from 2000 to 2004, said she is eager to use her experience to help the team succeed. "I know what it takes to win in this league," White said. "I'm going to bring that knowledge and passion to the Fever."

Kahn, who is a season ticket holder, said he is excited about the new ownership group's plans for the future. "I believe that this group has the vision and the resources to take the Fever to the next level," Kahn said.

The new ownership group has already begun to make changes to the franchise. They have hired a new general manager, Tamika Catchings, and have begun to explore new arena options. The group is also committed to investing in the team's youth development program and to working with the community to promote women's basketball.

"We want the Fever to be more than just a basketball team," Melloh said. "We want to be a part of the fabric of this community."
